I just tried booking skip-the-line tickets for the Musée d'Orsay on Klook and reckon it's a proper must-do for anyone who's into art in Paris. You just rock up to the ticket exchange at counter C1 and head straight in, so you dodge all the long queues and have heaps more energy left to check out the paintings. Inside Orsay is basically a goldmine of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works, from Van Gogh, Cezanne to Renoir, and it's all housed in this old Beaux-Arts railway station with an absolutely stunning glass and iron vaulted ceiling – you walk in and your jaw just drops.
You can do a lap whilst listening to the audio guide, soaking up each painting and sculpture, and it feels like someone's just walked you through an entire chapter of French art history. If you've got time up your sleeve, I'd recommend heading up to the area near the massive clock up high – it's a ripper spot to chill out whilst taking in views of the Paris rooftops and the Seine down below, and the photos are unreal. Bottom line is, if you're heading to Paris and you're keen on art (or just after something different from the usual Eiffel Tower selfies), then chuck a few hours at Orsay, and make sure you book your tickets ahead on the app to keep things stress-free and not lose the vibe waiting in queues, yeah.
