MONACO - 1 DAY IN THE PRINCIPALITY.
I want to share a few things about Monaco for those who want to visit and travel here.
Departing from Nice Airport (Nice Côte d'Azur Airport).
I arrived at Nice Airport, Terminal 1 at 5:30 AM. It wasn't crowded yet. Everyone can sleep temporarily at the airport.
Then move to the Saint-Augustin Metro station (7-10 minutes walk) to buy tickets to Monaco. I bought tickets at the automatic ticket machine, had a little issue but was helped by a train passenger so it was quick.
1 ticket 6.9 €/one way (sit on the right to watch the sunrise).
Everyone can also go by bus (easier to enjoy the scenery).
Get off at Monaco - Monte Carlo station.

- Port Hercule
- Port of Fontvieille view point
- Cathedrale de Monaco
- Palais Princier
- Casino de Monte Carlo
- Fairmont Hairpin
- Jardin du Casino
- Larvotto Beach
- Stade Louis II
In Monaco, the terrain is mostly hilly. So, the locations on Google Maps are very close to each other. But in reality, they are very far and take more time than usual.
Everyone can travel by bus. Personally, I walked to enjoy the Mediterranean sun and wind.
In the afternoon, I returned to Nice Airport and also bought tickets directly at the ticket machine in Monaco.
I went at the end of November 2025. The weather was cool, not too cold. Sunny all day.
